Tips To Help Make Life With A Catheter A Little Easier
Living With A Urinary Catheter › Forums › Urethral Strictures And Their Treatments › Unexpected vs expected post urethroplasty
I am hoping for some advice on impacts following a urethroplasty surgery and if I should be concerned. Got surgery done in late Jan 2019. Catheter was removed in mid Feb and June follow up. June surgeon said everything was going right. I have noticed issues with feeling, but a very embarrassing impact has been incontinence. I spoke with doctor during June visit he suggested pushing up below testicles. It has been working, but far from a permanent solution and leaks still occur regularly. I am curious iI others had this issue and if it went away or was reduced?
Canada3…. I had my procedure a few months after you and I have not had that issue. If anything, I experienced that before the procedure but not longer have the issue.
Hi,
Yes, I have that issue. I think everyone does. I try not to think about it, and I do push up under the scrotum and that tends to get everything.
Bottom line, these are imperfect solutions and they should be more up front about that.
Best,
