Ken,
I appreciate this forum. My urethraplasty was on Dec 20th and I had so many questions this site answered.
My catheter was removed yesterday and I experienced the fire hose effect.
I just wanted to say thanks.

lol it really is an eye opener isn’t it 🙂 it will calm down over the next week or two but don’t panic, that is supposed to happen as the urethra goes back to its normal calibre
How many steps back did you take from the urinal/toilet?!
I have a blog i’m updating weekly. I had my urethroplasty 14th November so am a little ahead of you in terms of recovery. There may be some things on there of interest to you
