Tips To Help Make Life With A Catheter A Little Easier
Living With A Urinary Catheter › Forums › General Discussion › Scrotum pain
Hi Ken,
Thanks for setting up this forum.
I’ve been reading through it and am yet to find anyone who, like me, still has pain a full 18 months after my end to end urethroplasty.
I also have a numbness in my penis and it gets ice cold, even in the autumn, and more so now in the winter. The pain in my scrotum, and the underside of my penis is comparable to a grass/turf burn. Although the oain has decreased over time it is still there and affects my mobility greatly. I now have to see a works doctor as I’ve been unable to return to full-time work and I think they think I am malingering.
Also, my penis is not only about 3 cm shorter but when erect points to one side and out and not ‘up’ toward my stomach. Sex therefore is something I can forget about.
I am 55 years old. Until my operation I was quite fit for my age and very active in sports. I cycled everywhere (I live in Holland). Now I feel like an old man who can’t do anything and is in constant pain.
I wondered if maybe there WERE any other guys out there who were experiencing similar?
Thanks,
SP
Throw your bicycle in the nearest dumpster. The absolute worse thing for men are bike seats. And I don’t like those “cut out” or two piece seats either.
How is it now? Any better?
