Hi everyone. Im scheduled for surgery end of october. If anyone has had this type of surgery it would be appreciated to get to know your experience with it. Thank you
Do you have specific questions, if you haven’t already had the surgery? There seem to be a lot of good posts here with people describing their experiences that you can search through. I found reading this forum to be very helpful when I was approaching my surgery. I haven’t found anything else like it out there. Besides this forum, the only answers I found on the internet were from various hospitals/urology depts posting their post-care instruction sheets online.
Hi thanks for your reply. My surgery was postponed to this wednesday nov 6th. I was hoping to speak with a few people who have had this surgery some time ago and are still satisfied. Ive spoken woth a man on this site but the more the better. Long hard history of urethra strictures with a few failed urethroplasty surgeries. I just dont want to be operated in the jewels anymore. I was also curious of the type of pereneal uresthrostomy as many types exist such an inverted u, lotus flap and 7 flap.
