Tips To Help Make Life With A Catheter A Little Easier
Living With A Urinary Catheter › Forums › General Discussion › Easy substitute for secure lock
So I ran out of those stickers for securing the catheter to my leg, and in a pinch you can use a band-aid!
I had some Flexible Fabric wide Band-Aids and cut off each sticky end, and threw out the pad. Each sticky end can straddle the cath at the Y joint or whatever it’s called and two can really secure it!
Hi Rob,
I just wrote a post about something new that will make it so you don’t have to ever use stickers when you are wearing a leg bag. Not sure if that is specifically what you were referring to here. But check out the post here: https://livingwithacatheter.com/get-active-freedom-belt/
I wish I had access to one of these when I was living with my catheter.
Cheers!
Ken
