Sorry to hear about your problem, Readymade. My surgery used the perineal approach, which is the most common approach as I understand it. I did not, however, have any ED afterwards, nor any decrease in sex drive. There was some numbness that gradually went away as the nerves re-grew, but since the glans area was still sensitive I had no trouble with erections, sex, or climax. You say you don’t have any follow-up scheduled until February, but there’s no reason you shouldn’t ask your doctor or schedule a visit if you’re concerned. Even a primary care physician / GP would be able to offer insight if you can’t get in to see your surgeon. It’s as likely to be psychological as physical, I would imagine. Good luck!
