The quality of erections get better over time. As one mentioned, it can take months. As far as ed meds, my point would be if you are able to have erections naturally, then you shoudnt need the meds. My confidence took a huge blow following my surgery but in the end for me it was in the mind.
Make no mistake though pending the type of surgery there can be lasting effects. I had my 1st surgery in 2009 and i have lost some sensitivity to sex. In 2017 i had a buccal graft and the doc opened my scrotum. Still to this day i wear underwears that hold everything in place. I get a mix of numbness and overactive nerves. It may never get back to normal. I wish you a quick and satisfying recovery
